At store projects, we learned how to make and design cardboard ceramics with  the help of designer Ray Gonzalez Brown. We crafted sturdy structured mould out of cardboard rubbish, which then proceeded to fill the mould with clay to take the shape of the unique cardboard textures and folds. Thickly coated with glaze so that the pigment of the white glaze can  slip out between each imprinted folds revealing an undone and incoherent cup.

  Nakedness is the reality and the true form of a body, however nudity is the objectified and unrealistic version of nakedness. My primary goal was to convey nakedness without displaying any nudity. This was accomplished through highlighting flaws such as textured skin, hyperpigmentation, spots, facial hair, and wound scabs. Ways of seeing by John Berger was my inspiration behind the meaning.  While the meaning behind these photographs were inspired by John Berger I also tried to mimic Saville's use of awkward unappealing positing and triangular compositions while including flesh like tones through edits.                                   

       My aim while sketching these pieces was to  mimic Saville's overlapping  perspectives, while creating a sense of  emptiness and unappealing  arrangement.  My decision was inspired through the sexual stereotypes of women having aroused and inviting poses throughout art, and to create the opposite of this stereotype.                        Materials- charcoal on Fabriano

                                                 The mono print was an inspiration of the 'Fragile' photography.  In order to subvert gender norms, I purposely included facial hair on a female character,  emphasising the irony.                        Materials - printing ink on Fabriano 

In this photograph my aim was to bring awareness to gendered stereotypes  that are expected of men, while ironically using a female figure to portray my aim.

        Charcoal sketch's of  The Crouching Venus in the style of Saville's overlapping  drawings.   During my visit to the V&A museum i discovered that the male figures are usually  looking  directly at the viewer as their true naked self , while the female figures are looking away  as if  they knew the existence  of the audience, almost as if they are posing, making them a nude.  The purpose of my  drawing was to  conbine the naked and the nude through diffrent means.                                                 Materials- charcoal on Fabriano                                                                     ...
