Charcoal drawings from photography


    

 

My aim while sketching these pieces was to mimic Saville's overlapping perspectives, while creating a sense of emptiness and unappealing arrangement. My decision was inspired through the sexual stereotypes of women having aroused and inviting poses throughout art, and to create the opposite of this stereotype.

Store projects/cardboard ceramics

At store projects, we learned how to make and design cardboard ceramics with  the help of designer Ray Gonzalez Brown. We crafted sturdy structured mould out of cardboard rubbish, which then proceeded to fill the mould with clay to take the shape of the unique cardboard textures and folds. Thickly coated with glaze so that the pigment of the white glaze can  slip out between each imprinted folds revealing an undone and incoherent cup.
